To celebrate London Fashion Week 2021 we have picked our favourite hairstyles taken from the runway over recent years…

London Fashion Week gives an international window for creative inspiration and ideas taken straight from the catwalk! Designers have been known to feature some pretty iconic hairstyles over the years and to celebrate the highly anticipated shows hitting the capital, we are going to take you through some of the looks we have loved over the years that can be recreated at home…

First up, we LOVED the half up half down look showcased on Chanel’s catwalk, so pretty, romantic and modern. With this one we’d suggest keeping the half tied up hair nice and loose, so it comes down quite low below any of your micro rings, really nicely disguising your extensions and giving some variation to your day-to-day look.

For autumn winter 2020, Max Mara debut some pirate style braids at the front of models hair, this is a great look for girls who have extensions as the front strands can easily be styled with a few lose plaits to bring that boho and chic look to any outfit.

For a slightly dressier occasion, we’d take inspiration from Italian designer Giambattista Valli’s 2020 catwalk where models wore elegant bows as well as pretty broaches within styles.  Both accessories just sit on top of hair, bow hairbands can be styled over a middle parting and broaches drawing some hair to the side, both easily added to hair with extensions.

Emilia Wickstead’s, Richard Malone, and Pam Hogg’s shows from A/W 2020 all sent models out in low ponytails for a minimal look, with a sleek side parting for a touch of masculinity. This is a great look for girls to recreate with extensions, as a low pony is easy to style, and for that edgy fresh from the catwalk look, comb hair into a side parting first.

Finally, at TR we loved the Burberry spring/summer 2020 collection hairstyles, with models rocking sleek, shiny, and simple hair. To achieve this look, hair is slightly dampened to give extra shininess, before blow drying it straight to keep the hair modern and natural which works well with girls who have extensions. The show saw Kendell Jenner rock this iconic look with her new blonde hair, absolute hair goals!

Enjoy playing with our new suggested hair looks straight from the catwalk!
