Welcome to Taylor Rose Hair Extensions' first ever blog post! I often get asked how hair extensions work or where the hair comes from, so in our first post I’ll aim to answer all your questions…
So, where does the hair come from? All our extensions are hand made from 100% human hair. The hair is of the highest quality, and each hair extension is unique and created to perfectly match with your existing hair colour for a wonderfully natural look. It's a completely bespoke service.

How are the extensions put in? To install, we use the micro ring technique which we really believe is the most comfortable and safest method. It doesn’t use any glue and forms a secure bond for each extension using a micro bead. We place each one carefully and away from the root of the hair, meaning that your natural hair is protected and you avoid any discomfort.
How long will it take? We fit hair extensions at our beautiful boutique salon in south London, which we like to think of as a home from home. After your initial consultation, we’ll book in your installation day and get everything ready before you arrive. It’ll take 2-4 hours depending on whether you’re going for a quarter, half or full head of extensions.

What about afterwards? After care is really important so we recommend you come back to see us 2 months after your initial installation. At the salon, we’ll carefully remove each piece, brush it through and re-fit it, creating a new strong bond and giving your hair a lovely top-up of care and attention. You'll be just like new again.
