The process usually includes an initial consultation, colour matching, preparation of your bespoke extensions, fitting, aftercare advice and regular maintenance appointments to keep your hair looking its best.

For a hair extension service, Taylor Rose Hair requires a 50% deposit at your initial consultation. This secures your appointment and allows us to prepare your bespoke hair extensions.

Your Hair Type

Your natural hair should usually be at least 8 inches / 20 cm long for hair extensions. We can advise properly during your consultation.

Ideally, please arrive at your consultation with your desired hair colour, as we will colour match your extensions to your natural hair.

Yes. We can use different tones to create a natural blend and match your highlighted hair as closely as possible.

We can advise on the best option during your consultation. In some cases, the natural hair may need to be prepared or smoothed before fitting.

Traditional extensions may not be suitable for fragile or extremely fine hair. However, we may be able to recommend mini keratin bonds or other suitable options depending on your hair.

Traditional extensions may not be suitable for alopecia or hair loss, but we may be able to discuss hair loss solutions or mini keratin bonds where appropriate.
Our Hair Extensions

We use 100% human, natural Remy hair extensions. The hair has a beautiful, luxurious texture and is chosen to blend as naturally as possible with your own hair.

Taylor Rose Hair extensions start at 18 inches. Clients usually choose 20 or 22 inches, and longer lengths may be available upon request. We can advise you during your consultation.

We offer a range of hair extension methods, including micro rings, nano, tape and keratin bonds. We will recommend the most suitable method for your natural hair, lifestyle and desired result.

Please arrive at your consultation with freshly washed, clean, dry hair. Taylor Rose Hair reserves the right to refuse a service if the hair is not in a suitable condition for hair extensions or maintenance.

Your initial consultation will usually take around 30 minutes. This gives us time to discuss your desired look, assess your hair, colour match your extensions and talk through the process with you.

Same-day fitting may be available subject to availability. Please contact us as early as possible on 020 7502 2419.

We may be able to offer a same-day service, but there are usually around two working days between your consultation and fitting.

Please arrive with freshly washed, clean, dry hair and avoid using conditioner or styling products near the roots, as this can affect how well the extensions hold.

A full head of hair extensions usually takes around three and a half hours. A half head usually takes around two hours.

We offer natural drawn hair extensions to help create a soft, natural-looking finish.

Wavy hair extensions may be available and can be ordered upon request.
The Process
Maintenance / Refit

We will advise you at your appointment on how to care for your hair extensions, including brushing, washing, products, styling and follow-up maintenance appointments.

As your natural hair grows, your extensions move further away from the roots. At your maintenance or refit appointment, we carefully remove or reposition your extensions and place them back securely.

We will advise you at your fitting appointment, but maintenance is normally needed within 6–10 weeks after your initial hair extension service.

Maintenance and refit appointments usually take two to three hours, depending on whether you have a half head or full head of extensions.

This depends on your hair, lifestyle and maintenance routine. Your extensions should usually last approximately 6–12 months with regular maintenance and good aftercare.

Please contact us for a removal appointment. We do not advise removing hair extensions yourself, as this could damage your natural hair.
Lifestyle & Aftercare

Yes, but we recommend protecting your extensions from chlorine and seawater where possible. After swimming, rinse your hair carefully, follow your aftercare advice and avoid leaving your extensions tangled or wet for long periods.

Yes. Regular exercise should not affect your hair extensions, although you may notice some extra shedding from the extensions due to build-up of oils at the root. We will advise you on the best aftercare routine.

Our aim is always a soft, natural-looking result. With careful colour matching, placement and styling, your hair extensions should blend beautifully with your own hair.

Yes, that is the aim. We use high-quality human hair and carefully match the colour, length and method to suit your natural hair.

If you are due to have an MRI scan, please contact us and follow the advice of your medical team. Some hair extension systems may need to be removed before certain scans.
